The research group MusMat is profoundly glad to announce the publication of the first number of the 2019 volume of MusMat: Brazilian Journal of Music and Mathematics. This issue contains five selected articles of internationally renowned authors who act in the intersection of theoretical and applied fields of Music and Mathematics, namely Marianthi Bozapalidou, Guerino Mazzola, Daniel Moreira, Rael Toffolo, and Michael Winter.
