Participação do Grupo MusMat no ICMM (International Congress of Music and Mathematics)

O Grupo MusMat apresentou três trabalhos durante o ICMM (International Congress of Music and Mathematics), que ocorreu em Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco, México) na semana de 26 a 29 de novembro:

Gödel-vector and Gödel-address as tools for genealogical determination of genetically-produced musical variations (Carlos Almada);

Textural Contour: a proposal for textural hierarchy through the ranking of partitions lexset (Daniel Moreira);

Partitiogram, Mnet, Vnet and Tnet: embedded abstractions inside compositional games (Pauxy Gentil-Nunes).

O Congresso reuniu autoridades e pesquisadores de várias partes do mundo para apresentação de pesquisas e troca de conhecimento. Os concertos mostraram a produção de música inspirada ou potencializada pela matemática, reunindo importantes artistas de vários países. Para o grupo, foi uma oportunidade única de intercâmbio com pares e de aproximação com pessoas especiais.

Participation of MusMat Research Group in ICMM (International Congress of Music and Mathematics)

MusMat Research Group presented three expositions in ICMM (International Congress of Music and Mathematics), during November 26th to 29th in Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco, Mexico).

Gödel-vector and Gödel-address as tools for genealogical determination of genetically-produced musical variations (Carlos Almada);

Textural Contour: a proposal for textural hierarchy through the ranking of partitions lexset (Daniel Moreira);

Partitiogram, Mnet, Vnet and Tnet: embedded abstractions inside compositional games (Pauxy Gentil-Nunes).

The Congress brought together authorities and researchers from around the world to sharing of researchs and exchanging of knowledge. In the concerts, music inspired or enhanced by mathematics was presented, bringing together leading artists from various countries. For the group, was a unique opportunity to interchange with peers and approach with special people.
